About Kyra Radomsky
I grew up in northern Virginia and discovered my love for acting as a kid when my parents enrolled in me in classes at Encore Stage and Studio, a regional theater in the area. I quickly auditioned with the theater and began performing there, being cast in three shows in just two years. It wasn't until I later took drama class at school and workshopped my first scene study that I discovered acting off the stage. I instantly fell in love with the style of acting called for in film from this experience as I got to try such a different approach. I knew then that I wanted to pursue opportunities in the film industry, so I took up a wide range of on camera acting classes as I began to venture into film. Since then, I've had lead or supporting roles in over thirty films (both short and feature length). One of the latest film projects I've worked on is a supporting role in Rustin, directed by George C. Wolfe and distributed by Netflix. I also work in TV/episodics, where I've had a series regular role in a web-series and a guest star role in a Lifetime true crime drama. My most recent television credit is a co-star role in the ABC series The Wonder Years (S2). In addition to my film and TV credits, I've also booked principal work in a number of commercials, modeling jobs, and voiceover projects- one of which is a series regular position in an animated anthology series. I love every character I get to embody, but I especially enjoy playing empowered characters with an edge. My strong work ethic and passion for storytelling never fail to keep me on my toes and trying news things when I work on a project. I'm excited to continue exploring new experiences as an actor.

When COVID-19 first came about in 2020, I was feeling a little lost as auditions and acting classes quickly came to a halt. I decided to pick up screenwriting so I could continue storytelling for the art form I had grown so close to. This led into interest in other jobs on the production side of filmmaking, including assistant directing and art directing (wardrobe, set design and dressing, and props). I was recently the art director for an upcoming short film titled Waterlogged, directed by Cash Martin. I loved getting to bring the world of the story to life, and I can't wait to share it when the time comes. Assistant directing might be my favorite job in production though. I am passionate and fascinated by the logistical side of the process and I actually really enjoy making sure it's all planned to a T. One of my most recent assistant directing credits was 1st AD on a short film for the 24hr film race, where our team won Best Local Film. Writing for the screen and being behind the camera has also taught me a lot about acting from a perspective that I wouldn't have otherwise experienced. I can't wait to keep learning and growing as my overall work in film evolves.

In my free time I enjoy roller skating, ice skating, and of course, catching up on my favorite shows and movies. I am currently a full-time actress in Atlanta. In addition to being local to ATL/the SE, I am also local to DC/the Mid-Atlantic. I am represented by East Coast Talent Agency.
